We use only the finest locally sourced English Oak, selected by hand to ensure premium quality and durability. Every sign is custom-made from scratch, ensuring a unique piece that is both functional and beautiful. Whether you're looking for a traditional house name sign or a modern engraved plaque, our oak signs are crafted to the highest standards.
Available House Sign Sizes
We offer two standard sign sizes, designed to suit a variety of property styles:
Small Wooden House Sign:
Height: 10cm
Thickness: 2.5cm
Width: 50cm
Up to 20 characters
Available with 1 or 2 oak posts
Large Wooden House Sign:
Height: 20cm
Thickness: 2.5cm
Width: 50cm to 1 metre
Up to 30 characters (over one or two lines)
Available with 1 or 2 oak posts
Note: The length of each sign will be adjusted to fit your custom engraving.
Solid Oak Post Options
Choose between one or two solid oak posts, depending on your preference or mounting needs: Post Size: 5cm x 5cm
Available Heights:
60cm to 1.2 metres (includes the portion for securing into the ground)
Ideal for mounting above walls, fences, or hedges.
Custom Engraving & Paint Options
Your personalised engraving is included with every order. Choose from four lettering finishes:
Natural (unpainted)
Painted in White
Painted in Black
Painted in Gold
All engravings are in capital letters by default. For lowercase text, please specify in the order notes.
Finishing Options
Each sign is crafted from one solid piece of Air-Dried English Oak, seasoned specifically for outdoor use. Choose from the following finishes:
Untreated: Weathers naturally to a silvery-grey patina.
Danish Oil Finish: Enhances wood grain with UV protection. Requires reapplication 2–4 times per year.
Assembly Options
All of our free standing wooden signs are sent flat packed: Easy self-assembly with screws/bolts included.
Installation Guidance
For secure placement: Insert 20–40cm of the post into the ground. Secure with postcrete or concrete for long-lasting stability.

All sizes are approximate. Character limits are based on standard spacing and layout. For lowercase engraving, add a note during checkout or contact us directly.
